Dennis is a native of central Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Elizabethtown College. He has been a serious fine art photographer all his life. Dennis has served as an Air Force Officer and pilot and holds a commercial, multi engine pilots rating with instrument qualification and over 2400 hours of flight time. Dennis has presented his photographic work regionally, in many one man shows. Dennis has conducted major photographic and video projects in India and Russia and has received a Telly award for his work in a Russian Documentary. Dennis has also completed a photographic essay on children living in orphanages in Russia and Moldova as well as children living in hidden societies in the underground of Bucharest Romania. Dennis has presented his work at the Morrison Gallery at Penn State Harrisburg and The Susquehanna Art Museum. Dennis has completed "The Cathedral Project" photographing the historic Eastern State Penitentiary and has done extensive documentary work in the Peoples Republic of China. Dennis is an accomplished fine art, commercial, aerial, and portrait photographer and has studied with Joyce Tennyson, Connie Imboden and Arnold Newman. Dennis was recently selected to do the official portrait of Bishop Kevin Rhoades of the Diocese of Harrisburg. Dennis is co founder and President of Keystone Human Services. Dennis also has the privilege of serving in many leadership and volunteer positions in both community and professional organizations. Dennis is a founding board member and Past President of the Open Stage of Harrisburg and currently serves as Board President of The Susquehanna Art Museum and Board Member of Wachovia Bank's Regional Advisory Board. |
