From the beginning of time; in myth, story and dreams, man has been drawn to the "view from above". The aerial perspective helps to orient us within our world. The "view from above"  provide a context for our place in our neighborhood, community, region and the world at large.

Northstar Imaging provides comprehensive professional aviation photography services including air to ground and air to air photography. Northstar Imaging is located in Harrisburg Pennsylvania with services being available world wide. Dennis Felty holds a commercial, multi engine pilots rating with instrument qualification and over 2400 hours of flight time including extensive military and formation experience.

Our  film equipment includes a Linhof Aero Technica 4x5 camera for large format applications, a Mamiya RZ 67 for medium format and a Nikon F5 for 35mm applications. Image output may be from small prints to mural size prints up to 48"x72" and larger. Images are available in a full range of digital, film and video options for use in web sites, brochures, editorial, multi-media and commercial applications.

Northstar Imaging offers air to air photography services for commercial and private aviation applications. We are very interested in working with museums and private owners of classic WWII "warbirds" including editorial publication.

Our Central Pennsylvania location is a short distance from New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington. We work from both fixed wing aircraft and helicopters depending on project requirements.
